The itch to build
In our early twenties, we didn't have money, a network or a plan B. What we had was an idea for an automotive e-commerce and a stubborn belief that we could figure the rest out. So we started — from a bedroom, with our own savings on the line.
Learning everything the hard way
There was no agency, no team, no mentor. Just the two of us doing the product, the brand, the website, the SEO, the ads, the emails and the customer support. Every mistake came out of our own pocket — which is the fastest way to learn what actually moves the needle.
Zero to 13,000+ customers
Slowly, then quickly, it worked. Over three years the store grew past 13,000 customers and became a real business — profitable, lean, and run by two people who understood every lever because we'd pulled all of them ourselves.
The exit
At 24 and 26, we sold the business. We'd lived the entire arc — building, scaling, and walking away clean. Most agencies have never done that once. We'd just done it with our own name on the line.
