This page explains the cookies and similar technologies we use on klickbee.com, which third parties receive data, and how you can control them. Everything listed as optional is loaded only after you accept — choose “Essential only” and none of it is ever fetched.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help a website work and understand how it is used. Some are essential; others are optional and require your consent. Alongside cookies, some of the tools below use similar technologies (scripts, local storage, server-to-server calls).
Essential cookies
Required for the website to function; they cannot be switched off. We set: kb_consent (remembers your cookie choice for about a year), NEXT_LOCALE (remembers your language — English or French) and, for administrators only, a secure kb_admin session cookie used to sign in to the content admin.
Audience measurement
Loaded only after you accept. Vercel Web Analytics — privacy-friendly and cookieless, aggregated anonymous page views with no cross-site tracking. Klickbee Tracking (our own tool) — page views, click autocapture and session replay, so we can see how pages are actually used.
Advertising and conversion measurement
These let us measure which ads generate contacts, and exclude you from campaigns once you have contacted us. Google (Tag Manager, Google Ads): loaded with Consent Mode v2, storage denied by default and granted only if you accept. Microsoft Advertising (UET): same principle. Meta (Facebook/Instagram pixel, plus a server-side Conversions API call): loaded only after you accept. LinkedIn (Insight Tag): loaded only after you accept. When you submit a form, your email and phone number are sent to Google, Microsoft and LinkedIn in hashed form so they can match the conversion to an ad click.
Business visitor identification
Loaded only after you accept. Apollo.io, RB2B and Happierleads identify the company — and in some cases the individual — behind a visit, so our sales team can follow up on companies that showed interest. This is the most intrusive category on this site: refuse cookies and none of these three is loaded.
CRM and forms
HubSpot, our CRM, receives the details you enter in our forms (name, company, email, phone, your message) so we can answer you. Its tracking script, loaded only after you accept, sets the hubspotutk cookie, which links your form submission to your visit.
Ad click identifiers
When you arrive from an ad, the URL carries a click identifier (gclid, fbclid, msclkid, li_fat_id). We store it for 90 days in our own cookies (kb_gclid, kb_fbclid, kb_msclkid, kb_lifatid) and attach it to your request if you contact us, so we know which campaign generated it. These cookies contain no personal data and are never shared with anyone other than the ad network that issued the identifier.
Managing cookies
You can accept or refuse optional cookies via the consent banner, and clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the website works. To change your mind after choosing, clear this site’s cookies in your browser and reload the page: the banner reappears.
Changes
We may update this policy as our tools change. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
