Action plan: an off-grid power provider facing Gulf key accounts

A hybrid solar and diesel power provider with real references at major industrial groups, but a website that let buyers neither contact it nor find it in its new countries. The diagnosis and the three-phase plan.

  • 0contact forms on the site
  • 1/13trade queries where the site ranks in the top 20
  • 0/30online references in the two new countries

01 · Context & diagnostic

Where the client started

Every action plan opens with the same page: what the business sells, where leads come from today, and what the numbers say before we touch anything.

An energy company that powers remote sites (camps, mines, construction) on a financed model, with no upfront investment for the client. It was moving from word of mouth to winning key accounts across several Gulf countries.

The review covered the website, 13 trade queries in three countries, four direct competitors and five regional players, Google and Meta advertising, LinkedIn and Google reviews.

What the diagnostic found

  • ContactNo contact or quote form anywhere on the site: a key account buyer had no way to submit a request.
  • ReferencesMajor industrial clients, availability figures and fuel savings appeared nowhere on the site.
  • InternationalNo reference or page for two of the three target countries, and no Arabic version.
  • GoogleIn the top 20 on only one of 13 trade queries, and described by Google with an activity that is no longer the core one.
  • ContentLatest news item published two years earlier, while the LinkedIn page has the largest audience in the panel.

02 · Three priority levers

Three levers, ranked by impact and effort

We never list twenty recommendations. The plan keeps the three that move revenue fastest, each with an estimated impact, an effort score and an owner.

  1. 01Phase 1

Fix: receive and measure a request

A site assessment request form tracked as a conversion, titles that describe the actual business, a corrected sitemap and clean tracking.

    Estimated impactHighEffort: Low
    • Form and conversion
    • Rewritten titles and descriptions
    • Fixed sitemap and tracking
  2. 02Phase 2

    Show: key accounts and figures

Put key account references, operating figures and the three priority segments at the heart of the site, with one page per segment.

    Estimated impactHighEffort: Medium
    • Case studies per segment
    • Published operating figures
    • Rewritten segment pages
  3. 03Phase 3

Open up: new countries and visiting companies

Exist in the two new countries, in English then Arabic, where online competition is weakest, and know which companies visit the site.

    Estimated impactMediumEffort: Medium
    • Country pages
    • Arabic version
    • Company identification

03 · Execution order

3 phases, In the order that compounds

Measurement first, then the fastest lever, then the ones that need traffic to prove themselves. Each phase has a deliverable and a number to check before moving on.

  1. Weeks 1-2FixThe site can receive and measure a request.KPI · Requests tracked
  2. Weeks 3-8ShowKey accounts, figures and segments at the heart of the site.KPI · Segment pages live
  3. Month 3+Open upNew countries and an Arabic version.KPI · Country queries covered

04 · Results

What changed, measured against the baseline

The figures below come from the diagnosis, recorded before any work started. They explain why the website comes before visibility.

  • 0contact forms on the site
  • 1/13trade queries where the site ranks in the top 20
  • 0/30online references in the two new countries
  • 4LinkedIn posts in 7 months

05 · What’s next

The next three levers

An action plan is never finished. The review produces the next plan, with the same format: three levers, impact, order.

  1. 01A fuel savings calculator
  2. 02Regular publishing of operating proof
  3. 03Campaigns in countries where nobody buys ads
