What does a Strapi agency do?
A Strapi agency designs and improves back offices built on Strapi, an open-source headless CMS. Most of the work is invisible to your visitors: modeling your content, setting permissions for each user, handling languages and publishing workflows, and shaping the API that feeds your website.
A poorly modeled Strapi back office costs you for years: duplicate fields, pages that can't be translated, and a marketing team that depends on developers. At Klickbee, we start from how your team actually publishes, then build the CMS around it.
Strapi, WordPress or a SaaS CMS?
WordPress is still the right call for most B2B websites. Strapi makes sense when you run several languages or markets, reuse structured content in many places, or want a custom Next.js front end. Contentful and Sanity do the same job as SaaS, with a subscription and your data hosted by the vendor. If headless is new to you, our headless website page explains the concept in detail.
We run our own website on it
The Klickbee website runs on Strapi 5 and Next.js, in English and French. Service pages, articles and case studies are managed in a Strapi back office we modeled ourselves. We recommend the stack we use every day.
You own your content
Strapi is open source and can be self-hosted: the database, media and code live on your server or your cloud account. No per-seat license, and no export to negotiate the day you switch providers.
Signs your back office is slowing you down
What we hear from B2B teams considering Strapi or already running it.
- "We need a developer to create a new page." Templates are rigid and no reusable components were ever built for the marketing team.
- "Translating the site is a nightmare." Languages were bolted on later, every version is duplicated by hand and content drifts apart.
- "Everyone can edit everything." No roles and no drafts, so mistakes go live without review.
- "We're still on Strapi 4." v4 stopped receiving updates in 2026 and nobody wants to start the move to Strapi 5.
- "Our SaaS CMS keeps getting more expensive." Every seat, locale or API tier pushes the monthly bill higher.
- "The back office was built by a developer, for a developer." Fields have technical names and the team can't find its own content.

What our Strapi development includes
A CMS your team runs on its own, and a clean API for your website.
- 01
Content modeling
Content types, reusable components and dynamic zones designed from your real pages. Your team builds a page from blocks without touching code.
- 02
Roles, permissions and publishing
Permissions by role and content type, drafts, publishing and review. Everyone sees what they need, and nothing goes live by accident.
- 03
Multilingual and multi-market
Strapi's built-in internationalization to manage each language cleanly, with shared or translated fields as needed.
- 04
REST or GraphQL API
A documented, token-secured API consumed by your Next.js front end, a mobile app or your internal tools.
- 05
Media, SEO and integrations
An organized media library, SEO fields on every page, webhooks to your CRM or tools, and conversion tracking on the site with Klickbee Tracking.
- 06
Hosting, migrations and upgrades
Self-hosting on your infrastructure or Strapi Cloud, backups, and migrations from WordPress or Strapi 4 to Strapi 5.
How a Strapi project works
A deliverable you sign off at every stage, and a self-sufficient team at the end.
- 01
Discovery and content model
A workshop with the people who publish, an inventory of content and languages, and a map of content types and roles. You approve the model before any development.
- 02
Copy and design
Conversion-focused copy, an SEO sitemap and mockups of key pages. Every design block maps to a component in the back office.
- 03
Strapi and front-end development
Strapi 5 setup, permissions, API, integrations, content migration and a Next.js front end. Full QA of both the back office and the website.
- 04
Launch and handoff
Go-live, editor training on your real content and documentation of the model. We fine-tune the back office after the first weeks of use.
Strapi or WordPress for a B2B website?
Both are open source and we build with both. Here's how we decide.
| Strapi (headless) | WordPress | |
|---|---|---|
| Content model | Fully custom: types, components and relations designed for your data. | Posts and pages, extended with custom fields and plugins. |
| Multilingual | Built-in internationalization, handled field by field. | Requires a dedicated plugin that works well but needs upkeep. |
| Front end and speed | Any front end, often Next.js: very fast but built separately. | Theme included, faster to launch, speed depends on theme and plugins. |
| Ecosystem | Smaller, so more features are custom built. | Huge, with thousands of ready-made plugins. |
| Budget | Higher upfront, worth it for multiple markets or large content libraries. | More affordable and enough for most B2B websites. |

Structured content that Google and AI can read
Answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews cite pages whose information is clear and well structured. A headless CMS helps with exactly that: each piece of data gets its own field instead of being buried in a block of text.
In Strapi, we add fields for headings, short answers, FAQs, structured data and internal links. The Next.js front end turns them into clean pages for Google and AI, in every language.
Key takeaway
A good Strapi content model makes SEO and GEO automatic: every page your team publishes comes out well structured.

Our story
We had the same problem, on our own e‑commerce
Before Klickbee, Louis and Julien built an online business past 13,000 customers. Every lead counted, so they learned what makes a website sell, and what is just decoration. That is the method we now apply to your site, with a senior team in Dubai and experts worldwide.

Strapi development FAQ
Straight answers on pricing, hosting, migrations and multilingual sites before you start your Strapi project.
What does a Strapi agency do?
A Strapi agency designs, builds and maintains back offices built on Strapi, an open-source headless CMS. At Klickbee, we model your content, set up roles, languages and the API, then build the website that displays it, with SEO strategy and conversion tracking.
How much does a Strapi website cost?
Our Strapi projects start at $6,900 for a site of up to 20 pages with a custom Strapi back office and a Next.js front end, and from $12,900 for multilingual sites or CRM and ERP integrations. The quote is fixed.
Is Strapi free?
The Community edition is open source under the MIT license and free, with no limit on users or content. You pay for hosting and development. Paid editions add features such as SSO, content history and audit logs, mostly useful for larger teams.
Should we self-host Strapi or use Strapi Cloud?
Self-hosting gives you full control over data and costs, as long as someone handles backups and updates. Strapi Cloud simplifies operations for a monthly subscription. We recommend one based on your technical team and data requirements.
Can our marketing team publish on its own?
Yes, that's the point of the project. Pages are built from blocks named in your team's vocabulary, with drafts, preview and publishing. We train your editors on their own content and hand over documentation of the model.
Does Strapi support multiple languages?
Yes. Strapi has built-in internationalization: each entry exists in several languages, with translated or shared fields. On the website, we add hreflang tags and clean URLs per language for international SEO.
Can you migrate our project from Strapi 4 to Strapi 5?
Yes. Strapi 4 reached end of life on April 30, 2026 and no longer gets updates. We audit your project, migrate code and data to Strapi 5 using the official upgrade tool plus manual fixes, then test the API and the website before switching over.
Can we move from WordPress to Strapi without losing SEO?
Yes, if the migration is planned: content moved into the new model, URLs kept where possible, a redirect map and checks after launch. We also confirm the rebuild is worth it, because WordPress is often enough.
Strapi vs Contentful or Sanity?
Contentful and Sanity are SaaS headless CMSs: nothing to host, but a subscription that grows with seats, locales or usage, and your data sits with the vendor. Strapi is open source and self-hostable, so it's easier to control over time. The right choice depends on your budget and your team.
Which front end do you use with Strapi?
Next.js by default, which we also use for our own website. Strapi serves content through REST or GraphQL, so it can also feed a mobile app or other tools. Our Next.js page covers the front-end side in detail.
Who owns the back office and the data?
You do. The Strapi project code, the database, the media and the hosting are in your name at delivery. You can switch providers at any time.
Do you work with US companies?
Yes. We're based in Paris and Dubai and work with companies across North America, Europe and the Gulf, including multilingual back offices when needed.
